I was asking Jonah if he knew what the word "mother" meant. He said, "yes, it means your mommy." Then he said "it also means, Creature."

So you go through this amazing, surreal, frightening, primal, other-worldly experience. You stay in the hospital for the next day or two being served meals, checked on by nurse, midwife, nurse practitioner , pediatrician, infant nurse, plumber, electrician... you get the idea. NAMES NEEDED

Maybe you can help us. We need a new blogger url for our whole family blog because our new little baby will be here soon and halliemichaeljonah.blogspot.com just isn't going to cut it. So if you have a snappy title that might work let us know. Also, we are in need of some baby name recommendations and books aren't cutting it. We had to throw out the last baby book we were using. As we went through the boy names one night we came to "Beelzebub" and knew something was amiss with the book. We gave it the benefit of the doubt and cruised through a couple more letters. When we came to the F's and discovered "Frankenstein" I followed that with another F word NOT in the book and we tossed the book. So, if you can suggest names better than Beelzebub Diltz or Frankenstein Diltz let us know. In addition to all of these requests we have one more. Knowing the Language is Helpful

We have moved to a new country where we don't speak the language.  I don't expect anyone to speak MY language.  I am the visitor.  The expat.  The bule .  But I have Google Translate on my phone so things will be alright.  I can get by.  Acquire the things I need, and get to the places I need to go. However, there are some very good reasons to have a basic understanding of the language that surrounds you.  It isn't too difficult to think of the scenarios in which you might find yourself suffering for the non-existent language skills you possess.  And you may find yourself soothed by the fact that many people do in fact speak your language, if your language is English.  It isn't an obnoxious "American privilege" I speak from but a fact .
