We made it through Kindergarten!

Image
I am in shock that Jonah's kindergarten year is over. I cannot believe that all those mornings of walking the two of them to Sabin and staying for book look are over. What a crazy idea. If this year had taught me anything, it is that we all need to attempt to be fully engaged and immersed in the present moment without our minds wandering to the tasks of the day, or we miss everything. The baby through preschool years seemed slow as molasses, but now I finally understand what all those parents were trying to say to me when they expressed how fast kids grow up. I included some great pictures from the day. We are so proud of Jonah and how he pushed through and had such a successful year. We love you, little J.

Run!

Jonah announced last week as we were walking home from school that he had "run for the yarts" the next day:)

Thank you, Grandma and Grandpa Diltz

We are so lucky to have loving, caring grandparents living so close who we can always count on in a pinch. Our family is infinitely better off with you two in it!

Happy St. Patties Day

On our way to a lovely traditional st. Patties day dinner at Joe and Heidi's, Jonah was telling Michael how the Leprichaun had turned our milk green. ( ahh, the amazing things green food coloring can do;) then Mae emphatically said, yes, Daddy, the apricots turned our milk green!
