Our friends Byron, Elke and Skyler, loaned us season 1 of Fraggle Rock and I couldn't help but notice the resmeblance between the cute little Doozers and my cute little Mae.
"Chase your cares away Worries for another day Let the music play Down in Fraggle Rock..."
(or something to that effect) I concur on the Doozer semblance, now that I see the pictures back to back. If Mae decides to go into the construction trades, send her my way! She would look cute in a hardhat. ;)
Our little Mae is quite the cutie and succeeded in gaining 12 ounces in 7 days. Her secret? Constantly feeding. Here is a rare moment when I didn't find her face smooshed against Hallie's breast.
A few years have passed since the last entry, but we felt it was time to revive the blog, as we are now on an epic adventure in Surabaya, Indonesia. Yes, crazy, I know, but here's some background: Matthew and Julie, friends of our for many years, have been teaching in international schools for over 15 years. Matthew has been an admin for about the last 5 of those and finally landed at a school that he thought would be a good fit for Michael. So in January 2017, we made the big decision and signed a two-year contract. Clearly we were not worried at all........ Taking the plunge and clearly not worried
Jonah loves to help out. Here he is preparing swiss chard to saute and eating the loaf of bread that was meant to be shared by the whole family. We eventually were able to pry the baguette out of his hands while he screamed, "WANT BAG IT! WANT BAG IT ALL OF IT!!!" Even with the bite marks, that Pearl Bakery Baguette was tasty.
